Kinfill's Seasonal Cleaning Collection – Introducing Tangerine
As art director and packaging designer for Kinfill—an eco-friendly home care brand focused on refillable cleaning products—I led the seasonal collection's creative development. This annual line adds a limited-edition scent to Kinfill's four signatures, inspired by the season for sustainable routines. In Spring 2022, I created and named Tangerine, blending bitterness and sweetness with classical-modern notes for luxurious refillable cleaners. Tangerine features a floral heart and spicy base, ideal for natural, non-toxic cleaning.
Key notes:
Top: Neroli, bergamot (citrus burst)
Heart: Orange blossom, ylang-ylang (sweet warmth)
Base: Floral musk (depth and longevity)
Using plant-based ingredients in refillables, it reduces waste and elevates chores—perfect for eco-friendly refillable cleaning products or natural seasonal home scents.
I designed a warm palette of oranges, yellows, and earth tones to evoke the scent visually, while briefing and co-creating premium imagery with a photographer. The packaging features minimalist lines, sustainable materials, and hand-numbering for exclusivity, appealing to loyal customers and boosting sales through limited-edition. Launched during Christmas 2022, the collection included a round, embossed scented object infused with Tangerine—versatile for hanging in Christmas trees or cabinets as a thoughtful gift. This highlighted sustainable holiday home fragrances and eco-friendly scented decor, serving as a pilot for future scented home objects.
