Kinfill Soap Bars
Project description
Eco-friendly donut-shaped bars for zero-plastic self-Care. As art director for Kinfill—an eco-friendly home and body care brand empowering people to build cleaner habits for themselves, their homes, and the planet—I led the visual vision for a new product line "Solid Care." This zero-plastic collection introduces playful, donut-shaped bars and is designed to reduced plastic use, replacing traditional bottled products.
The lineup includes: shampoo bar tonka bean, body soap bar velvet verveine: hand soap bar lavender fields and a hypoallergenic baby soap bar: fragrance-free and ultra-gentle for sensitive skin, babies, and children.
Design philosophy: playful tradition meets modern sustainable care. Drawing from traditional natural care, these 150g halo-shaped bars feature a central hole for easy grip and fun handling. Biodegradable, plant-based formulas minimize waste—each bar saves 6+ plastic bottles from landfills. Promoting a "rinse revolution" in sustainable routines.
I art directed the packaging line with intern designers, co-created photography and visuals, casted models, and handled production, art direction, and concept for the photoshoot. The children's line (featuring the baby bar) maintains consistent grading and lighting but stands separate with more playful styling, portraying the solid bars as Lego-like blocks through models interacting: stacking them, rolling them, and using them as glasses for joyful, engaging imagery. This visual narrative invites all to embrace cleaner living with positivity.
